Personal Project, 2023
This was a parting gift to my high school yearbook staff as their editor-in-chief. We had a common liking of music to the point where we would play music any time in the classroom (we even had a shared playlist to play during long nights). We, as a staff, gave a vinyl record to our advisor, but as a surprise gift, I gave all of the editors (along with our yearbook publishing representative) a CD filled with the same playlist as the vinyl.
This is a fully-playable music CD. There are 11 songs in total, all hand-selected from the student team. The album art is designed by myself and printed on a CD-scratch resistant paper sleeve. The wave pattern was inspired by an upcoming trip to Japan I was taking and was meant to symbolize tranquility and calmness after the whirlwind that was creating a yearbook.
